Fall - My Favorite Season of the Year!

I love the changing of the seasons and am grateful I live where I can enjoy them all. But fall just has to be the best! The heat of summer and my MS don't get along very well, so the joy of cooler days and nights at this time of the year bring welcome relief ! But more than that, I love the changing colors of the leaves and the winding-down of yard work and gardening. However, in all honesty, I love the fresh vegetables to eat all summer long so I am not complaining about summer or gardening, really!

For some reason, I don't do much holiday decorating at any time of the year except fall and Christmas. I had a free day and arranged to go spend some time with Lori. I have been dying to go to "The Gathering Place", that wonderful fabric store in Rupert and see all the gorgeous material I keep hearing so much about! We took our little sidekick, Jack, with us and had a ball perusing the goods! I just loved these fall fabrics and bought enough to make a new table runner as an afternoon project with my crafty little daughter, Lori! She was kind enough to drag her machine, ironing board, and all the other sewing notions down to her dining room table and we went to work. I am so thrilled with it! Thanks, Lori, for a great day! And thanks, Jack, for hanging out at the fabric store and at lunch with Mom and me. You are a trouper!
