Sheldon's pop fly...is it fair our foul? Jacie waiting patiently.
Staying true to tradition, my Sunday School kids came this morning for a breakfast party. I didn't take pictures of the food before we ate...just forgot. But we had french toast with homemade maple syrup, scrambled eggs, peaches and pears, bacon, sausage, orange juice, chocolate milk and milk. The kids are so wonderful to help if I'm not quite ready when they come. This morning I needed to put some branches in the garbage can before pick-up and Cade, arriving first, went out and had it done in about 5 minutes! Thanks, Cade. Jacie cooked french toast and Kaden cracked eggs for scrambling. After eating firsts and seconds, I read "Skippy John Jones" to them which has become a tradition. (Isn't that a hoot?...yes, the book for sure...but the fact that they still like to be read to is pretty cool.) They then played baseball with a big bouncy ball for about an hour. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them and enjoyed observing them interacting with each other. They exhibited great sportsmanship most of the time which I was pleased to see. . . I LOVE THESE KIDS! They have amazing testimonies and are firm in living gospel principles. Teaching Sunday School is such a blessing in my life made even better because of young people like these!
